Mystery Shopping Advice

Filed under: Uncategorized — ambercouric @ 1:06 pm

I am considering looking for companies that hire mystery shoppers.  I don’t  know anything about this so would appreciate any information.  Good companies.  Companies to stay away from.

I’m not really looking into this to make money. More to be able to try a few products or places to eat for free.

I would love to hear from you if you have any info.  Feel free to reply here or to e-mail me.

  1. don’t do this. it is a waste of time for the small amount of money you receive they make you provide picture, fill out paperwork, etc and it ends up being very small hourly wage.

  3. I would check out Money Savings Methods – http://www.moneysavingmethods.blogspot.com/ – she has a whole section on this & it has proved to work out well for it. I say give it a shot – what have you got to lose?!?!

    Have fun 🙂

  4. I’m signed up with two mystery shopping companies and available shops have been slim to none in my area. I’ve done three in the past 6 months, one to a store and one to a local chain resteraunt, one that I don’t particular enjoy eating at, but did it to give the experience a try. I did get one at a Vet clinic, which offset/covered my needed vet visit for one of the dogs and the shop fee covered my gas and time. But yes, depending on the company, there is a lot of pre and post shop paperwork. Most companies have detailed lists of things to look for and to ask and are very specific about what you need to report back to them. If your reports are not up to snuff, the shopping company won’t let you accept shops or even drop you from thier roster.

I look at it this way, it can’t hurt to sign up and check out the web sites. You may find there are shops in your area that work for you, you may find that it does not work for you.
