A Look Ahead at November

Filed under: Goals — ambercouric @ 10:38 am

Looking ahead at November there are a few things I want to accomplish.

  • Finish all Christmas shopping by November 30
  • Pay for all Christmas purchases with cash
  • Make no more than 2 trips to the grocery store each week
  • Do not buy any Diet Coke or chips
  • Spend no more than $1000 total on Christmas
  • Pay $900 on car

I think all of these goals are achievable for the month.

  1. Hi there-it sounds like these goals can be very achievable for you, keep up the good work and best of luck!

  5. I too wanted to finish Christmas shopping by November, but my husband loves to shop during the season because of the ambiance. So, that goal is not going for me! lol.

And I think $1K is a good goal. That seems to be our norm…about $750. Well, as long as I keep the hubby in check. That is his one time of the year that he can be highly persuaded by sales and glitz!

    Hey, great goals! 🙂

  7. I think the diet coke thing would be a deal breaker at my house – especially for my wife. She loves her diet coke.

we’re limiting our christmas spending to about $500 this year if we can help it. We’ll see!

  8. I’ve got the same christmas budget, I go over every year but that’s usually cause we have to travel. This year we’re staying home, so that should help. I’m frugal most of the year, christmas is splurge time.
Kudos on paying down the car loan, I paid mine off last month and it’s so great not having those payments. Imagine what you could do with that $900.
