Want vs Need

Filed under: Uncategorized — ambercouric @ 12:15 pm

Last night I realized that I use these words interchangably.  I caught myself yesterday saying that I needed something when in reality I didn’t  need it I just WANTED it.

I’ll be paying more attention to what I say.

  1. At least you’re aware!! 😉 Good for you!

  2. Frugal Dreamer you’re right. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so aware for the last few years.

  3. Hi there-thanks for stopping by, I’m adding you to my bloglist too!! Have been reading your blog-keep up the good work.Just a suggestion re the diet coke, how about keeping a manual spending diary on your monthly spends for fizzy drinks and fast food-I’m sure you’ll be amazed at month end!! I do it for thrifting and July and August were crazy months for me, so I’ve been doing my best to cut down. Once you get a real idea of how much you spend, you can either-keep it at that level if you’re happy, or cut the budget and divert the other funds for something else in your budget.Anyway, just a suggestion and good luck!
